The Clinical Training & Communication Program (CTCP)
Develop Your Clinical Skills and Build Your Professional Reputation
Here is your chance to enhance your clinical skills and strengthen your ability to communicate your expertise like never before. CDI’s premier training program, the CTCP is a series of 5 stand-alone modules that are delivered in a face-to-face workshop format:
Each module is presented over two days and is structured to maximise your learning experience. CDI is known for outstanding audiovisual presentations and highly practical interactive sessions. No matter what technique you use, or your specialisation, the CTCP will stimulate you and strengthen you as a chiropractor.
CTCP Modules are accredited for continuing professional development (CPD) and continuing education (CE) in numerous jurisdictions around the world. Check the CPD Page for more information.

What’s Unique About the CTCP?
The CTCP is built around a clinical framework for chiropractic practice. This is because the true value of knowledge and information is in the way that it’s organised. Knowledge is held together in patterns based upon how it’s used. The CTCP has been designed from the ground up to be highly practical so that the skills and knowledge are presented in a format that translates directly into clinical practice.
Professionalism. Knowledge. Respect.
Years of experience in training chiropractors have taught us that these three words embody the needs of chiropractors everywhere.
Professionalism. What does it take to run a truly exceptional clinical practice?
Knowledge. How can the latest neuroscience offer you true clarity in practice no matter what technique you use?
Respect. How what you do and say can position you with authority in the health care arena. How can you communicate your expertise more effectively?
Refined over the past six years, the CTCP will help you refine the diagnostic skills, powerful communication abilities and streamlined practice systems to build a truly sustainable practice. After training thousands of chiropractors across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia CDI has developed what we believe to be the most comprehensive training program available to address the core needs of practicing chiropractors.
The CTCP is the first program of its type to combine enhanced clinical skills with inter-professional communication strategies. It is an unfortunate truth that sometimes being good is not good enough. If you want to position yourself in the health care arena as someone with specialised knowledge and skills you must learn to communicate your expertise. Therefore the CTCP will open your eyes to the science of communication and will train you in its art.
You will learn how to build relationships with your medical colleagues over time, using a systematic approach. This chiropractic communication process consists of five key levels of understanding that will enable you to explain chiropractic to a medical practitioner.
Structure of the CTCP
The CTCP is a complete professional development pathway that is offered in a flexible mode:
The CTCP is a complete professional development pathway that is offered in a flexible mode:
- Delivered over FIVE stand-alone TWO-DAY Modules, which allows you to take on the development that you need, as you need it
- You choose whether you complete just a ‘stand-alone’ Module, or all five.
- Modules are offered every 3-4 months
- Each of the five Modules focuses upon a key area of skills and knowledge development and will lead to a Statement of Attainment in one or more nationally recognised Units of Competency
What You’ll Take Away From the CTCP Modules
Above all, the CTCP was designed to address the lack of recognition that exists for the specialised skills and diagnostic ability of chiropractors. It is the first training program of its type to give serious attention to inter-professional communication and the development of cooperative relationships with other health care professionals - particularly medical practitioners.
- Learn how to finesse the communication of your diagnostic thinking - to your colleagues, to medical practitioners, to research scientists - to anyone
- A powerful overview of the latest neuroscience to clarify the chiropractor’s scope and unite all techniques
- Enhance your diagnostic skills, focussing upon the common lesions that present to the chiropractor and usually go undiagnosed
- Understand and be able to explain how your treatment is effective with various spinal lesions
- Learn how to leverage your increasing clinical skills to position yourself as a problem solver for the patient’s medical practitioner - the art of communication
- Learn how a solid foundation of science in spinal care is the doorway to greater appreciation for your neurological impact upon health
- Develop medical practitioners as your allies - a complete strategy for building professional referral relationships for sustainable practice growth
- Procedures for patient communication and record keeping
